Our Monday was busy. We had breakfast at Chateau Puicheric and said goodbye to Philippe by 9:15. We drove about an hour east and north of Beziers, to visit a castle at noon. We didn’t love it. We drove further north to see two others, and didn’t love either of them. We turned around by 3, to drive south and west, to Montreal. We’re staying at La Residence de Gerard this week. I made reservations to stay here for last summer and had to cancel. I stayed in touch with the Belgian owner, Marc, and we’re happy to be staying in his beautiful renovated home. I love Montreal!
