Lunch in Auvillar then on to Chateau du Frechou

We left Montreal after breakfast this morning.  We had a wonderful week there, staying at La Residence de Gerard.  We drove west a couple of hours, and had our best lunch yet, in Auvillar, a Plus Beaux Village.  Lunch was delicious and the village, high above the Garonne River, was beautiful!

We arrived at Chateau du Frechou by 4:00.  We are staying in a suite with a view of the countryside.  We walked around the gardens and through the village.  Chateau du Frechou was built in the 13th century.  It may be our favorite chateau yet!
