Prolific Bloomer

This cacti blooms a few days each spring, and we’re enjoying its blooms this week.  There were over 60 blooms when I took this photo.  Stunning!

More Spring Flowers

This has been a beautiful spring in Tucson!

Super bloom in our Yard

We’ve had an abundance of yellow blooms in our yard over the past few weeks.  Our neighborhood rules require homes to leave their yards, outside the patio area, in their “natural state,” except for trimming of trees as necessary.  The “natural state” has yielded a super bloom of brittle bush this spring.  Yucca and agave are blooming inside our walled patio area.  Photos taken this morning.

Spring is a beautiful time of year, everywhere!  We are enjoying the various blooming cacti and wildflowers in our yard and neighborhood, in the Sonoran Desert of Tucson.  They are a reminder of the the beauty of nature and our responsibility to nurture it.

Yellow Flowers in Our Yard

We have thousands of brittle bush in our yard, and this is their blooming season.  They will likely continue blooming over the next few weeks.  We are enjoying their show.
