We drove about 250 km today. We took a tour of one property and looked at the exteriors of six others, walking around villages and through fields, munching on fresh picked figs when we saw them. We are amazed at the beautiful fields of sunflowers, in various stages of their life cycle just before harvest. The old market places - halles are beautiful in their simplicity. Many old chateaux are incredibly elaborate, and the engineering to build them from the 9th century to the 18th, was pretty remarkable. The day began quite foggy, then cloudy, and These are a few images from today.
