Lectoure’s Vendredi Marché

Lectoure has a Friday market, rain or shine.  We went early this morning, 9-10, before the crowds descended, and while long shadows were being cast down the street.  We see many of the same vendors each week, and buy whatever is fresh.  Their products change from week to week or month to month, depending on what is produced or ready to pick.  There are plenty of vendors of various things, other than food - flowers and plants, wooden games, leather goods, woven coverlets, clothing, shoes, Armagnac, fabric, on and on.  Friday market is when everyone in the village comes out to shop and to see each other.
