On Wednesday, we had lunch with friends at O Canard Toquet, a restaurant in their village of Urdens. It is a tiny village with no stores, just the restaurant and a few houses, about 275 inhabitants. We arrived a few minutes early and I noticed the door was open to Eglise Saint Saturnin. We stuck our heads in and there was a parishioner tidying up. She turned the lights on for us, and we were stunned by the beautiful ceiling and the stained glass windows. We met our friends, had a delicious lunch, then walked to their house for coffee. We had a nice afternoon!
