I plan our meals around Friday market in Lectoure! Farmers from the area arrive early Friday morning to sell fresh vegetables and fruits, breads, patisseries, meats, mushrooms, and all sorts of other things - from plants to clothes to mattresses. Friday market is the gathering place for the village and the surrounding area. Everyone goes, so there is lots of stopping to hug and chat. Photos from Friday market….
In the evening, our friend Gerard, and his friend Claire, came for dinner. We went up to our fourth floor balcony for a glass of wine, then had dinner in our breakfast room. Our friend, Ayse, cooked our dinner. It was delicious! We had a nice evening. A good day!
