Sunday was France’s Mother’s Day. I celebrated again!
I went on an early walk down the valley just north of Lectoure and had multiple sightings of hot air balloons. It was a beautiful morning!
Papa and I went to two vide greniers, one in Caussens (with an accordianist) and the other in the tiny village of Saint-Orens-Pouy-Petite. We didn’t buy anything, but we had fun looking. We took a back road home, and drove through beautiful fields of wheat and just planted sunflowers. We had Mother’s Day lunch at L’Atelier D’Auria - a favorite, and it was delicious!
