On Wednesday afternoon, I met my friend, Judy at the spa, Valvital, in Lectoure. We soaked for two hours and came out feeling refreshed. We stopped at Hotel College des Doctrinaires, across the street, for a lemonade after. It was a nice afternoon!
On Thursday morning, we went to the weekly market in Saint-Clar. I bought fruits and vegetables under the ancient Halle. We walked down to LaMirande B&B to say hello to our friend Hilde, and ran into someone else we got to know, while staying in Saint-Clar last fall. We stopped in Eglise Saint-Clar. We also went to a photography exhibit of the Southwestern United States and chatted with the photographer. We had a nice visit to Saint-Clar.
In the evening, we were invited to apéro/dînatoire at the home of an American, Susan, and her daughter, Anling. Susan was a chef in the US and moved to Lectoure about five years ago. She is quite settled and enjoying her life. Our dinner experience was delicious!
