We woke up to clear skies and had breakfast at the Pousada overlooking the Cascais marina. We ran into a German couple having breakfast, that we had met a few days ago in Alcácer. They were leaving for home this morning, and gave some advice for the next leg of our trip in Iceland. After breakfast, we walked to the west, along the cliffs overlooking the sea. We stopped at Igreja Paroquial de Nossa Senhora Assuncao and admired its beautiful gold leaf pulpit and its blue azulejos. We had a delicious lunch at a local cafe, then walked to the east, through Cascais and on to Estoril. We walked about ten miles today. We passed more big, hundred+ year old fancy houses than we could count, along with ultra modern homes and condominiums.
