Busy Week

Last weekend, Papa and I reorganized parts of the garage, with lots of things to give away.  During the week, I reorganized our closets and pantry, with even more things to give away.  We invited our Boys and Girls Club kids to come for lunch yesterday, to take things they can use.  One came on Friday after work, another is coming today, and four came for lunch.  We got rid of almost everything!  Hooray!

While organizing in the garage, we came across some wood that Papa had forgotten about, so he spent a few hours over this week, making a saddle rack for Audrey.  

On Thursday, we had lunch at the Arizona Inn, with Kasey and Andy, both with UA.  The Foundation Board that Papa serves on, has donated funds to UA since 2016, so it was a nice catch up.  We always enjoy the Arizona Inn, where we had our wedding reception 43 years ago.  

We spent 3 hours and 39 minutes yesterday morning, glued to our phones and computer, while Claire competed in her first full marathon in Mesa, AZ.  Her time qualifies her for the 2025 Boston Marathon lottery.  It was quite exciting for our family to watch her mile times - virtually the same minutes and seconds from Mile 1 to Mile 26.  We plan to watch the Super Bowl today.  Audrey was born on Super Bowl Sunday in 1982.  A wonderful memory for us!
