From our Window

I took these two photos yesterday, one from the window in one our guest rooms, and the second as the sun was setting, from our 4th floor balcony.

We have had a busy week.  On Sunday, we went to La Romieu for a morning walk with Caroline and Glyn, then coffee in the square, and Caroline and I looked at the pottery wares of several potters exhibiting.  On Monday morning, I hosted a new friend, Cristina for coffee at our house.  Cristina is Argentinian and moved to Lectoure last summer.  On Monday evening, we had Dominique and Romain for dinner and we played three rounds of Skye Jo.  Our games are very competitive and so much fun!

On Tuesday afternoon, I went to my friend Susan's house to pick figs.  I love figs!  On Tuesday evening, we had Lesley and Andy and Caroline and Glyn for dinner.  We talked for hours.  We had lunch with Aline, a new friend in Lectoure, on Wednesday at Atelier D'Auria, then we went to her house for coffee afterward.  Aline was born in Vietnam, married in France, and lived across the street from our house for 20 years.  She is full of life and stories.  We had our friend Susan for dinner on Wednesday evening.  We had lunch at Racine on Thursday, just the two of us.  We love Lectoure and all the people we are getting to know!
