We traveled to San Martino di Castrozza in the Italian Dolomites, on Sunday, by plane from Toulouse, then by hired car from Treviso Airport. We came to visit our friends, Ornella and Donato. We met soon after we arrived and went for a walk through the village, and we had dinner at their house in the evening.
After a hearty breakfast at our hotel, we met Ornella and Donato for a drive to one of their favorite places to hike. We hiked in light rain (off and on) about four miles, and the views/scenery were extraordinary in every direction! We ate lunch in a typical mountain restaurant, then went for coffee and dessert in another. We enjoyed every moment!
