We invited our friend Susan to join us for lunch in Auvillar, and to stop at a vide grenier in the Port of Auvillar, on the Garonne River. Auvillar is a listed Plus Beaux village in France. After lunch at Le Petit Palais, we walked under the clock tower and up the cobblestone street to the triangular square with its round market hall. We continued straight on to overlook the Garonne River. We visited the Eglise Saint-Pierre, with construction starting in the late 1100’s. We had a good day!
