On Sunday morning, we went to the annual summer vide grenier in Saint-Clar, the village we lived in for six weeks while we were house hunting. It’s not far from Lectoure. Papa bought a pair of German binoculars for 10 euros.
We drove further south to the village of Cologne, and met our friends Caroline and Glyn for lunch, overlooking Cologne’s square, hosting a Sunday car show. We had a nice lunch, great conversation, and Papa and Glyn walked around the car show while Caroline and I talked more.
On the way home, we stopped in Sarrant, a Plus Beaux village, built in a circle. Its eglise is painted and quite beautiful.
