Papa and I worked on the house much of the weekend, and we had fun too! We continued doing chores in the house, with Papa hanging light fixtures, me cleaning, and we put together two bed frames and Papa carried the mattresses up three flights of stairs. On Saturday night, we went for dinner with our Belgian friends, Hilde and Filiep, to a pizza restaurant in Condom. We stayed out late and enjoyed catching up with them.
We worked a bit on the house today, and went on a walk along the rampart walls of the village. Spring flowers are blooming. It was a warm, beautiful afternoon. We continue to be grateful we found Lectoure.
