The painters finished today. They will return after all other work is finished and furniture is placed, to do touch ups. The painters were a good crew. Papa and I grew very fond of them. I greeted them every morning with kisses to each cheek and again when they left at the end of the day. Each of them had a great attitude all day, every day. We were sad to see them go, but anxious for the next stage of making our house our home.
