Cuisine est Fini

The last piece of furniture for our kitchen was delivered this morning, a table to use as an island.  Papa promptly cut a piece of butcher block cutting board for the top.  We are happy with the result.

I went to the market after the delivery.  Local farmers have more things each week.  I got strawberries, yellow kiwi, leeks, carrots, lettuce, freshly made bead, and cheeses.  I made cheese sandwiches with French mustard and cucumber and tomato salad, with fresh fruit for lunch - was a good day.
