Lectoure has had a Friday market for centuries. This week was just the same, with local vendors lining Rue de Nationale, with fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, clothing, baskets, soaps, bread and pastries, freshly made foods, and more. Papa and I walked down Rue de Nationale checking out the options. We purchased fresh kiwi and strawberries, locally grown. Market day is a favorite day of the locals, to catch up on the news and eat lunch together at cafes on the street.
