Madrid

We had breakfast in Barcelona.  Leaving Lauren in Barcelona with her other grandparents, Audrey, Taylor, Papa and I took a 10:40 train to Madrid, arriving at 1:25.  We walked to our hotel from the train station, checked in, then set off for the Plaza Mayor, where we had lunch.  Afterwards, we crossed the street to explore the Mercado de San Miguel, full of fresh foods.  We returned to the hotel for a rest, then stopped for gelato, and passing by the Prado Museum, on our way to Retiro Park.  We enjoyed Retiro Park, resting on benches at various times, and people watching.  It was a relaxing way to end our day.
