In San Diego with Greta

Greta chose San Diego for her “Lulu and Papa trip.”  She flew into Phoenix with Whitney on Sunday night and we left this morning by 8 for the airport.  We arrived in San Diego by noon, had picnic at a taco restaurant close to the airport, then drove to Pacific Beach, where we had ice cream sandwiches at The Baked Bear, before walking on the beach.  By 3, we headed toward Coronado Island, checked into Hotel Marisol, then spent the rest of the afternoon on Coronado Beach.  Greta played in the surf and sand.  We collected shells and walked on the beach.  We walked to dinner at an Italian restaurant, then played games and watched a movie.  We had a good day!
