We’ve been busy since Wednesday. I’ve been working in the garden and going through closets and cabinets. Papa has been checking the shutters and making repairs. We are sadly preparing to depart in two weeks.
On Thursday, we went to Toulouse for medical appointments, required for our residency permit application. We had two appointments at two locations across the city from each other. At the second appointment, we met someone from Terraube and Boston, there for the same reason as us, and discovered we have mutual friends. We’ve been in touch since.
We went to the Lectoure Market on Friday morning, always fun because we see people we know. Our neighbor and friend, Romain has a photography exhibition in his atelier at his home across the street. Our friend, Emmanuel came by at 4 for a short visit before going to the exhibition. Our friends, Pirrko and Nelson came for aperitifs at 7, after going to the exhibition. We took our aperitifs to our fourth floor balcony as the sun was setting. It was a beautiful evening.
