I prepared lunch and we drove to Phoenix for the day, arriving by 10:30. Whitney and Toby flew into Phoenix on Friday morning, and Whitney ran the Mesa half marathon early Saturday morning. They were staying at Claire’s house. Mary joined us at 11, and we enjoyed lunch on the patio, talking until 3. Papa and I drove home after lunch. What a treat to spend much of the day with family!
