Friday and Saturday

Papa and I have had a busy couple of days.  On Friday, we met our friends, Lesley and Andy in Condom, and drove together from there to Les Caprices de LaGraulet, https://les-caprices-de-lagraulet.eatbu.com/?lang=en , a restaurant we found last summer, whose chef is wonderful.  Lesley and Andy ate many times at the chef’s previous restaurant, so it was a treat for all of us to dine there for lunch.  

On Friday evening, we went to our friend Judy’s house, near Blaziert.  We enjoyed wine, pizza, salad, and strawberries with cream, under the giant tree in her garden.  

Today, we celebrated Fathers Day and my birthday, over lunch in Moirax, at Auberge le Prieuré, https://aubergeleprieure.fr/ , a Michelin starred restaurant.  We ate a multi-course menu de jour in the garden.  It was delicious!  

We walked around the village of Moirax before and after lunch today.  Construction began on its Eglise Notre-Dame in 1060, and the grounds included a Cluny Priory.  The eglise is beautiful.  Renovation has been ongoing for hundreds of years.
