New Life

We made our final move from Winchester Ranch on Wednesday.  We are adjusting from living on over 24 square miles and 15,500 acres, a view of 9 mountain ranges and not another house in sight to living on 1 acre with a view of 1 very tall mountain range and houses nearby.  We've been unpacking and purging for days.  Our home is taking shape and we're enjoying having our most special things around us, like Papa's six saddles on the bannister and jars of rocks and shells.  I also like being able to go to the grocery for one thing anytime I want!

Our big question has been, "what are we going to do?"  We will continue with our hobbies, leather work for Papa, walking and photography for me, reading, travel and much more for both of us.  We've been talking about and learning about scholarship programs over the past year.  We intend to set up a scholarship program over the coming months.  We will also be attending concerts, one tonight actually, a farm to table dinner on Wednesday, and we have travels coming up within the next few weeks.  Life is good!

A peak at our home, still a work in progress, and a prickly pear bloom by our stairway...
