The actress, Maggie Smith recently died at the age of 89. She had an illustrious career over many decades. There was an excellent article in the NY Times titled Maggie Smith's Face Has Something to Teach Us.
Excerpts from the article: "To attain this age (89) is an accomplishment, a privilege. Ms. Smith’s beautiful aged face invites us to break free of limitations, to contemplate and appreciate the full arc of a lifetime, in all its stages, without fear, and without yearning to turn back the clock. Her face — her deeply lined, world-weary, expressive, seemingly makeup-free, magnificent face. Maggie Smith reminds us that age itself may be the ultimate luxury."
Wow! I had not considered before that age really is the ultimate luxury.
