Uxmal and More Mayan Ruins

We visited Uxmal this morning, dating from 600-1000 AD, and known for the beauty of its architecture and intricately carved stonework.  At it’s peak, Uxmal housed 20,000 inhabitants and covered an area of 12 square kilometers.
We also visited nearby Mayan ruins, Kabah, Sayil, and Labna, all built with large stone buildings with intricate carving.  It was a wonderful day!
