Etherton Gallery
After lunch today, we went downtown Tucson to the Etherton Gallery. I wanted to see Steve McCurry's photography exhibit. It was wonderful, set off by his most famous photograph of the green eyed Afghan girl. There were so many iconic photos! I really enjoyed seeing them.

Medicine Man Gallery
Papa and I were inspired by the Cameron Trading Post a few days ago, so we stopped by the Medicine Man Gallery in Tucson today. The Gallery is primarily the collection of Mark Sublette, a former doctor, now collector of western art, jewelry, rugs, pottery, baskets, and much more. Mark Sublette is also an author of novels as well as western art research books. The Gallery is beautiful and full of “western eye candy.” I love the Navajo blankets and rugs.

Antelope Canyon
Antelope Canyon has been on my "go to list" for years. Papa and I took a tour of Lower Antelope Canyon, on Navajo Tribal Land, this morning. It was amazing! Every twist and turn was more beautiful than the last. We entered the slot canyon at 10:30 and came out about 90 minutes later, with the sun moving overhead during that time, so the light was varied inside the canyon. We were lucky to get a tour time during the middle of the day, when there were a few minutes with shafts of light shining through the canyon. Loved it!
