Friday Market

We woke up to a clear morning with snow covered Pyrénées in clear view.  Magnifique!

I went to the market at 9:30 and picked up lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.  It was such a beautiful day that I went back up to Rue Nationale after dropping off my bags, around 10:45, to take photos.  Many vendors and farmers had sold most of their stock by the time I returned.  There are fewer farmers now than there will be in June and the rest of the summer as their crops come in.  Many of the other vendors come every week, regardless - the wooden toy maker, the knitter, basketry, Armagnac, cloth….
