We woke up to a thick layer of fog that created hilltop “islands” across the landscape, with the sun shining for just a few minutes on the snow capped Pyrénées. Within an hour the fog started to burn off, and then heavy clouds came, interspersed with sun throughout the day. We had lunch with friends while rain poured. By 3, there was more sun than clouds.
