We enjoyed the United Nations Association of Southern Arizona annual lunch at Tanque Verde Ranch today. The speaker, Liz Oglesby, is a professor at UA, Center for Latin American Studies. She spoke about Central American Migration and It’s Significance for Southern Arizona. Her presentation included slides with graphs and numbers dating back 40 years. It was very interesting!
After lunch, we walked about Tanque Verde Ranch. You can read about the history of the ranch here. The setting is beautiful, as well as the grounds and the horses. We plan to go stay at Tanque Verde Ranch to get the full dude ranch experience.
