We woke up to a day full of singing, “happy birthday” to Greta. Holli made monkey balls for breakfast, and we had fruit with them. They were delicious! We took family photos from 9-10... lots of family photos!
In the afternoon, we prepared for Greta’s party, by blowing up lots of
balloons, setting the table with glow sticks, party hats, a cousin made
poster, and gifts for all the kids. Colby and Taylor taught each other dances. We had a family obstacle course
just before dinner. Claire made nachos for dinner, with lots of fruit,
and ice cream cones and M&M cookies for dessert. We played round
after round of 4th of July bingo after dinner. We had a good day,
singing “happy birthday” over and over, and a happy celebration for
Greta.
After smiling until it hurt, we all headed into Breckenridge and took
the gondola up the mountain. Whitney’s family went to the Epic
Discovery attraction for most of the day, while the rest of us went to
the kids base camp for a few rides, dots ice cream, then back to Bear
Lodge for lunch.
