We drove north from Santa Fe, through spectacularly beautiful mountains and broad valleys, and alongside a forest fire, to arrive in Breckenridge around 3:00 this afternoon. We had lunch then walked down Main Street, as local vendors and craftsmen were preparing for July 4 events. We headed to our hotel to rest before the family arrives! The mountains are beautiful!
