After a long day visiting the Val d’Orcia, we had dinner under the trees with the storytellers in the village. What an amazing dinner! Four men in the group, from Greece and Turkey, made mousaka with rice, Greek salad, soup, and halva for dessert. The workshop’s chef also served tiramisu. Yes, we had Turkish food in Italy and it was delicious! We took several bottles of wine and enjoyed conversations until well after dark. We had a wonderful evening!
