We met with several others, in front of UA Museum of Art at 10 this morning. We were led by a docent who pointed out various works, including sculptures, fountains, exhibits and tile mosaics. The campus is ablaze with yellow blooming palo verde. It was an interesting tour and a beautiful morning!
After the Public Art Tour, we met one of our oldest Boys and Girls Club kids, David, for lunch. David will graduate from the UA in May with a double major and a double minor, over 200 credits! He plans to go on to medical school, but will pursue a masters in physiology over the next two years. He will be a teaching assistant at the same time and is excited about earning a living while continuing his education. We enjoyed catching up with him!
