We went to see The Book of Mormon at Centennial Hall yesterday afternoon. What a show! We belly laughed over and over. "The Book of Mormon is a musical comedy about two young Mormon missionaries who travel to Africa to preach the Mormon religion. First staged in 2011, the play mocks various Mormon beliefs and practices. The show was awarded nine Tony Awards, one for Best Musical, and a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. The Book of Mormon has grossed over $500 million." The Book of Mormon also "celebrates the human need for myths to make sense of the world." The plot is layed out here. We enjoyed it!
