We took the train from Lyon to Paris and arrived in just under 2 hours. We took the metro, dropped our bags at Nannybags, and went directly to the Picasso Museum. We enjoyed the Jackson Pollock exhibition that opened a week ago, and particularly enjoyed seeing the Picasso Collection - arranged chronologically and showing the various forms of art he made and the progression of his work, and the museum building - stunning!
We took the metro to the Tuileries, and walked to our hotel. After a siesta, we went for a walk through the Tuileries, through the Louvre grounds, and the Jardin du Palais Royale before returning to the hotel to get ready for dinner. Even though it was a cloudy afternoon, families were out with their children after school. A good day!
