Two Concerts

We have had a busy weekend!  I went to the morning Friday market on Rue Nationale in Lectoure.  We invited friends, Caroline and Glyn, on Friday evening for a glass of champagne on our 4th floor balcony, and went for dinner on Rue Nationale at L’Atelier Gourmand.  On Saturday morning, our friend Judy had lunch with us.  We went for apéros dînatoire at our friend, Aline’s house, along with friends Kay and Jay.  After, we went to a choral concert at Eglise D’Esprit in Lectoure.  This morning we went to a vide grenier in the village of Castet Arrouy.  After looking at all the things for sale, and Papa enjoying an antique car show, I went into the beautiful village église.

We visited our friends Kay and Jay, and helped move some of their furniture.  Always fun!  This afternoon we went to another choral concert at Saint-Pierre Cathedral in Condom.  The Cathedral was built in the 16th century, around a 14th century chapel.  We walked through the cloisters attached to the Cathedral.  On the street side of the cathedral are statues of the Three Musketeers and the author of the book, Artagnan, from the Gers.
