After a delicious and fun lunch at Falene Bleu in Lannepax on Sunday with our friends, Caroline and Glyn, we came home, packed our bag, and drove to Toulouse to spend the night at an airport hotel. We were up early this morning, to take a bus from the Toulouse Airport to Matabaiu Gare in downtown Toulouse.
We caught our 9:17 train to Perpignan, changed trains and arrived in Barcelona at 1:40. We met Audrey, Lauren and Taylor soon after we arrived, and spent the afternoon walking around Barcelona, sightseeing. We had a late lunch of tapas, and stopped for gelato. We ate our gelato, sitting on the side of a fountain in the Placa Real. Papa and I continued walking around the marina and then to the Familia Sagrada, for a couple of hours after Audrey and the girls went to their hotel to rest. Barcelona is a big city, with beautiful ornate buildings, many restaurants, and parks. It is visually stunning, and with soooo many people out and about on a Sunday afternoon!
