We left home yesterday, flying from Tucson to LAX, then from LAX to London overnight. We arrived in London by noon, got through security, took the Heathrow Express into the city and were at Claire’s house by 1:30. We had lunch with Claire and David, then went back to their house in time for Emerson and Colby to come home after school. Papa and I spent a couple of hours with Emerson and Colby, crossing Abbey Road, going to Violet Park, where they had ice cream, climbed trees, and played on the playground. It is summer time in London, with leafy green trees, and blooming camellias, roses, and irises. We’re happy to be in London after an uneventful trip!
