Over 3300 petroglyphys have been found along Sutherland Wash. We set off this morning to look for some. We hiked 4.6 miles, spending time circling big rocks and crossing running streams, but we did not find any petroglyphs. We did find a large rock with several grind holes. It was a beautiful morning and we were exploring new territory (to us), so we enjoyed being out, hearing running water, and seeing the incredible views of the west side of the Santa Catalina Mountains, along Pusch Ridge.
