This morning, Papa and I went downtown to the Tucson Museum of Art’s Annual Spring Art Market & Flower Festival. Both of us are fascinated by the creativity of the artists, who use unusual materials and methods to create all sorts of things from wood, yarn, paint, clay, fabrics, metal, gems, recycled materials and objects, and more. We also walked through the Museum, enjoying the current exhibit by Cuban American Carlos Estevez, and the permanent exhibit of Western art.
We had lunch at the Annex of Mercado San Agustin. The Mercado is an old world style open courtyard with restaurants and small shops surrounding it. The Annex is across the street and built of shipping containers housing small shops and restaurants. We had a delightful day!
