We bought tickets for the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet concert on Sunday afternoon, at Grace St. Paul's Church in Tucson. When we arrived, we couldn't help but notice the two large banners hanging over the front door. Grace St. Paul's is proud of their message!
The guitar concert was wonderful! The music chosen was from classical 17th century European to 20th century Brazilian to contemporary Australian and Japanese. The Grammy award winning guitar quartet was joined in their last piece by an orchestra of collegiate guitarists, to play a piece based on a song from the Havasupai Tribe at the Grand Canyon. We loved it!
