We went to Lectoure’s Friday market this morning, stocking up on fresh fruits and vegetables. We had lunch at home and relaxed most of the afternoon. This evening we went for apéros at friend Annie’s house in La Romieu. Annie spends half the year in Naples, Florida, so we always trade stories of the US.
We went to the Viaje à Espana concert in La Romieu’s Collégiale cloister this evening. There were three musicians, one playing a guitar, one playing a lute, and one singing and playing castenets. They were excellent!
We had dinner in La Romieu’s square after the concert, meeting several friends and sitting together. As the sun set, there was folk music and dancing. We had a very nice evening!
