We have endured the European heat wave of 2019, but didn’t have the energy to do too much on Sunday. Papa and I went for a long walk early in the morning, on masseria property. We went for lunch at Cibus in Ceglie Messapica, a favorite restaurant after having dinner there one night. We lingered over lunch, then came back to the masseria for siesta. By 6, we went to a beach on the Adriatic Sea, Lido Morelli, about 20 minutes from the masseria. Local families were just leaving the beach, so we had plenty of space to ourselves. Pam and I walked on the beach and enjoyed the coolness at sun set. Another good day!
