Papa and I flew to Rome this afternoon. We got to our hotel by 7 and we were quite hungry. We stopped for pizza at a nearby restaurant. We had a short wait, and the salad and pizza were delicious. When we came out of the restaurant, there was a very long line around the corner waiting to get a table. We proceeded to a gelataria across the street for our dessert. It was yummy! We took a walk to Piazza Navona to see the beautiful Bernini sculpted fountain, and then a few blocks over to the Pantheon. We had a nice and quite scenic evening, with people eating outside, live music along the way, and many people enjoying gelato.
