Last evening, Papa and I went for a walk in our neighborhood. We walked through the local elementary school property celebrating “Culture Night.” The school mariachi band was playing at the entrance. Girls dressed in Folklorico dresses and parents in their native dress from around the world were arriving. It was a moment that warmed my heart, made me smile, and everyone else was smiling too!
