We biked on The Loop with Emerson, Colby, and Claire, on Sunday morning. We entered The Loop at a place Papa had not been to before, and found very little bike traffic, which made it perfect for us. We biked about eight miles round trip, a long way for Colby!
We went to Humble Pie for a pizza lunch, then Claire and I took the kids to the Tucson Children’s Museum in Oro Valley. They played for close to two hours. The skies opened after we got home, so we watched a couple episodes of Anne with an “E.” I admit to not liking this new version as well as the original, but I enjoyed watching with Emerson and Colby.
Papa made pancakes for Sunday night supper. The skies seemed to clear a bit by 6:15, so the kids got out their bikes for a ride in the neighborhood. The rest of us walked. The clouds gathered again, and we got very wet before we got home. After showers and getting ready for bed, Papa read Emerson and Colby’s favorite bedtime story, Riki Tiki Tavi. We had a good day!
