Alba and I had planned for several weeks, to hike yesterday afternoon. We woke up yesterday morning to rain, and it rained most of the day. I picked up Alba at 3:15 and under a sprinkling sky, we drove to the Finger Rock Trail. Sprinkles subsided just as we arrived, so we started up the mountain trail. About 40 minutes later, we were stopped by a giant saguaro that had fallen across the trail. The timing was perfect, because just as we got back to the parking lot, ready to leave, the sprinkles came back. The hike was incredibly beautiful, with low clouds hovering down the mountains, constantly moving and leaving us with a mystical view. We talked the whole hike, and had a hike we won't forget!
