On Wednesday evening, we left a bit early to drive to Condom for dinner with friends. The restaurant, L’Apero was just a few steps from Saint-Pierre Cathédrale, so we walked inside. We were the only ones there, at 7:20 in the evening. It is a magnificent Cathédrale! “Built in the 16th century, on the site of an abbey church from the 11th century, it dominates the town of Condom.”
Our dinner at L’Apero was delicious and fun! We met friends Judy, Richard, and Ghattas and enjoyed sharing tapas. The chef/owner is joyful and creative. She moved a couple months ago from her restaurant Les Caprices de Lagraulet. We were sad it closed, but thrilled that she is now closer to us and continuing to make amazing food!
